Golden Hour

Where light meets life

This residence is a reflection of intentional living. By harmonizing clean, geometric lines with a deeply organic material palette, and luxe furniture, it feels both structurally significant and comfortably grounded.

OBJECTIVE

My vision for this residence was to elevate the concept where the interior architecture showcases to highlight the golden glow of natural wood and the changing movement of light throughout the day.

Approach:

Monochromatic Materiality: I anchored the design in a monochromatic palette, letting the grain of natural oak act as the primary feature. By maintaining consistent tones across floors and built-ins, I created a seamless, fluid foundation that brings an immediate sense of calm to the home.

Sculptural Minimalism: I treated furniture and lighting as sculptural art rather than simple utility. Every piece features a clean silhouette, ensuring that each object feels like a deliberate, curated discovery that complements the room’s architectural frame.

Light as a Feature: Light was the most important material in this design. I positioned the layout to invite natural rays to dance across wood slats and stone surfaces, allowing the space to shift effortlessly from soft morning stillness to a warm, golden glow by evening.
