A curated urban retreat
Transforming a commercial space into a vibrant, textural oasis. By balancing bold botanical patterns with sophisticated velvet textures, I created a destination that feels both playful and refined. This design proves that "vacation vibes" can still feel like a high-end experience.
OBJECTIVE
My vision was to incorporate the soul of a tropical sanctuary with a luxurious vibe that is not intimidating. I curated a palette inspired by flora and natural materials to infuse warmth and a genuine sense of wonder into every corner.
Approach:
A Textural Journey: I juxtaposed warm artisan textures, like hand-woven rattan and oak ceiling slats, with structured black-and-white patterns to define the space.
Curated Material Palette: To add a signature "Grace" to the energy, I introduced ruby and emerald velvet fabrics alongside custom-printed botanical patterns.
Intentional Atmosphere: Every detail from the rhythmic floor tiles to the consistent greenery on each table, was chosen to ensure the restaurant feels personal and collected.
